Atiku celebrates double: Wife’s 75th birthday, Eid al-adha festivities

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, is in high spirits as he marks a double celebration Friday honouring the 75th birthday of his wife, Hajiya Titi Abubakar, alongside the Islamic festival of Eid al-adha.

The special day was marked with heartfelt tributes, prayers, and family gatherings at the Abubakar residence. Friends, political associates, and well wishers extended their congratulations to the couple, praising Hajiya Titi for her unwavering support and advocacy over the decades, especially in the areas of women’s empowerment and education.

Taking to his social media platforms, Atiku expressed deep affection and admiration for his wife, calling her “a pillar of strength and compassion” and thanking God for her life, health, and legacy.

The celebration coincides with Eid al-adha, one of the most significant festivals in the Islamic calendar, commemorated by millions of Muslims around the world.

For the Abubakar family, the convergence of both occasions made the day especially meaningful.

As the former Vice President joined fellow Nigerians in celebrating the Eid, he also used the opportunity to call for unity, compassion, and generosity values that the festival and his wife’s life exemplify.
