Released medical document: Regina Daniels threatens legal action

Regina Daniels has threatened legal action against the release of her medical report.

Her medical document flooded the Internet on Thursday, said to have been released by Serenity Royale Hospital, Abuja.

In the controversial medical document, she alleging tested positive for cocaine and other substances.

The supposed “home detox report,” which circulated across social media, claimed the actress was undergoing a private detox programme and had tested positive for cocaine, alcohol and other substances. The post quickly set off a wave of speculation, dragging Regina’s name into a storm of unfounded claims.

But in a swift response, Serenity Royale Hospital dissociated itself from the document, insisting it did not originate from them.

The hospital wrote: “DISCLAIMER! Our attention has been drawn to a post (on an alleged Mid Term Home Detox Report) being circulated online in the name of Serenity Royale Hospital with respect to Mrs. Nwoko Regina. We wish to state clearly that the publication and circulation of the said post did not emanate from us. We respectfully request the public to disregard it. We remain committed to high standards of medical practice and confidentiality.
Thank you,
Management, Serenity Royale Hospital.”

Following the hospital’s disclaimer, Regina Daniels took to social media to express relief, saying she was close to taking legal action before the truth came out.

She wrote: “Thank you for this. Knowing the owner of this hospital is a family friend made me almost go crazy and sue y’all. But thanks for standing by the truth despite knowing your big fish is in the family — saving your hospital and just doing the right thing. So thanks, and let me kill this.”

Her reaction has since calmed the rising speculation, with many fans now calling for accountability over the leaked document and its origin.
