Wike jabs Reuben Abati: After accusing me of land grabbing and Tinubu answered him, he became ashamed
The Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, has jabbed Arise TV anchor man, Reuben Abati.
Wike accused Abati of trying to embarrass him (Wike) before President Ahmed Bola Tinubu rather he was the one (Abati) who became embarrassed at the end of the day.
The minister noted that this happened when Abati and other journalists interacted with President Tinubu during the presidential media chat.
He asserted that it was unfortunate that Abati, a first-class graduate, singled him out and accused him of land theft before Tinubu, according to a recent video broadcast by Symfoni TV.
It was even suggested to Tinubu by Abati that Wike could pose a political threat to his administration, he claims.
According to him, President Tinubu’s handling of the charges embarrassed Abati. He asserted that Abati was too ashamed to ask any follow-up questions after the president addressed the issue.
Wike said: “It is unfortunate that Abati, a first-class graduate, has accused one minister, Wike, of land grabbing, and told Mr. President that he might be a political problem for his government. After Mr. President responded, he was unable to ask any further questions, much to his shame, which brought glory to God. His shame was plainly seen.”
