The wife of Hakeem Odumosu, a former Assistant Inspector General of Police, who was kidnapped last week, has regained freedom from her abductors.
Muyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer, confirmed this on his official X handle on Thursday morning.
Adejobi explained that the abductors of Mrs Folasade Odumosu were lured with the ransom. He added that the kidnappers were killed, and ransom was recovered from the culprits.
He said the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, commended the police operatives and the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, for the rescue operation carried out on Wednesday.
Mrs Odumosu was abducted last Thursday at the entrance of her residence in the Arepo area of Ogun State.
