Genevieve Nnaji renowned Nollywood actress recently opened up about her personal life, sharing poignant reflections on her past and present.

In a heartfelt revelation on Facebook post, Genevieve expressed her enduring feelings for her childhood love, Emeka Ike, and the impact of their separation on her life.

She said she was ready to give love another chance after a 20-year heartbreak, saying “I’m ready to let go of the past and give another real man a chance.”

She shared:
“I miss my childhood love, and I’m still single at 44,” expressed Genevieve Nnaji. “Emeka and I were supposed to build a family, but he decided to be with Suzanne instead,” she reflected.

Genevieve said that she thought they were on the path to marriage and a shared life when Suzanne, now Emeka’s ex-wife, came back into the picture. In her own words: “We had a strong love and were making plans to settle down and marry. Unfortunately, destiny intervened and we couldn’t be together. We even vowed to always stand by each other. Thankfully, he has returned to the industry now.”
