Anambra Prophet, Onye Eze Jesus, escapes from abductors four months after
Anambra prophet, Prophet Onyebuchi Okocha a.k.a Onye Eze Jesus, has reportedly escaped from his captors. This is coming after spending four months in the kidnappers’ den.
Recall, after a month of uncertainty last year the kidnappers finally made contact with his family, demanding a staggering ₦200 million ransom for his release.
The kidnappers allowed Onye Eze Jesus on the 4th of October 2024 to briefly speak with his sister, confirming that he is still alive.
However, the kidnappers gave the family a tight deadline to pay the ransom in full, threatening to behead him and deliver his corpse if their demands were not met.
The family had pleaded with the public to help raise the funds, appealing to well-wishers and supporters to help secure Onye Eze Jesus’s safe release.
As the deadline came closer, the family remained anxious, hoping for a miracle that will bring Onye Eze Jesus home safely.
However, in a 59 second video which surfaced on Saturday, the controversial prophet made his escape known. He thanked God he was able to come out unharmed this second time, haven been kidnapped earlier.
Though, he did not reveal much about his escape details, time and how he out smarted his abductors, he was full of praise to God for making it possible.
