Continued referencing content creator in Finland with pro-Biafra detrimental to IPOB struggle – Emma Powerful

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has pleaded with media houses not to associate a self-professed content creator in Finland with IPOB worldwide.

The pro-Biafra group said the Simon Ekpa led IPOB was a disaster to the struggle and image of the group

A statement issued by IPOB’s Head and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, Wednesday, said Ekpa should not be taken serious as he is a comedian.

According to Powerful, a person who declared himself as the Biafran Prime Minister of a Finland-based phantom Biafra government in exile should be regarded as a criminal.

“The phantom Biafra Government in Exile is not part of the IPOB nomenclature. The persistent association of these content creators with the legitimate aspirations of Biafrans, championed by the great IPOB worldwide, should not be muddled to serve a dangerous intent of tarnishing the impeccable image of IPOB.

“Media houses are enjoined to stop referencing content creators in connection with IPOB, especially the content creator in Finland’s prison.

“If media houses continue linking the content creator to the great family of IPOB led by Mazi Nnamdi Okwuchukwu Kanu, we will regard them as those who are fighting to destroy the peaceful IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“IPOB is not part of them, and Nigerian media and bloggers should stop making these associations. They have declared their freedom and independence, having mentioned their created states. What remains now is to tell the public the locations of their seats of power in Biafraland. IPOB remains true to its founding principles and will not shift ground until Biafra’s independence is fully announced by the United Nations,” the statement concluded.
