Divorce: Annie Idibia breaks silence in heartfelt note, reverts to maiden name

Nollywood star, Annie Idibia, has shared her first post on social media since her divorce drama with her estranged husband, 2Face Idibia, started.

Taking to her Instagram page, the mother of two expressed gratitude to her family and friends who came through for her and prayed to God to bless them all.

The actress appreciated them for the outpouring of love and stated that she doesn’t take it for granted.

Signing off on the appreciation post, Annie used her maiden name, Annie Uwana Macaulay. .
She wrote:
“To my family, to my friends who came through for me, to the support system I have now, to all my amazing family HERE and all over the world. God Bless you for the outpouring of love.

I appreciate every single one of you, and I do not take any of it for granted. May the universe continue to be in your favour. God Bless You All.

In January her husband, 2Face Idibia, had announced their separation.

He has since moved on from her with Edo-state lawmaker Natasha Osawaru.
