El-Rufai sparks reactions as he shares picture attending funeral mass inside church in Anambra State

A chieftains of the Social Democratic Party, SDP and former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai was spotted attending a funeral mass inside a church in Okija, Anambra state thus stroking avalanche of reactions on the internet.

Indeed, it has sparked reactions of the reasons behind attending a church and sharing of the pictures.

They were shared on the official X handle of the former governor of Kaduna state on Thursday.

In the pictures that surfaced online, Nasir El-Rufai was seen greeting some of the people who also attended the event.

However, after the photos surfaced online, Nasir El-Rufai said the funeral mass was conducted for Chief Mathias Chidi Anohu.

Here is what Nasir El-Rufai wrote on his official X handle;

“We joined the Anohu family at the funeral mass held this morning in Okija for Chief Mathias Chidi Anohu. May his kind soul rest in peace”.
