Enugu native doctor, ritualist attracts wrath of students for using one of them for rituals

Secondary school students in Enugu have stormed the residence of a native doctor, identified as Obi Obieze, a native doctor also known as Ichie Million, E de play E de Show, and Obu Onyeka, to lay curses on him after discovering that he used one of their classmates, previously declared missing, for ritual purposes.

This shocking event was shared in a post on X (formerly Twitter) by user @ChuksEricE.

According to the post, the students had just finished writing their WAEC examination for the day when they gathered at the native doctor’s house to publicly curse him.

In the video accompanying the post, a man narrates:

“It is confirmed that he is one of the victims the native doctor buried. The students came here to lay a curse on him and all his gang, that it will never be well with them.”

This incident follows days after Ezeani was exposed when one of his victims reportedly cried out for help, prompting angry youths to storm his residence and set it ablaze.

The native doctor was arrested the following day while attempting to flee the country through a border crossing.

The post has since gone viral, with many Nigerians taking to the comment section to express their outrage and demand justice.

  1. The fact that this happened just after the WAEC exams makes it even more disturbing—students should be celebrating, not mourning a classmate. It’s a tragic reminder of how vulnerable young people can be when communities let fear and superstition fester unchecked.
