Fani-Kayode allegedly marries new wife, the 4th time
Nigeria’s former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has reportedly married a new wife, bringing the number of his known marriages to four. The traditional ceremony was said to have taken place recently.
The new bride, Adaugo, is 29 years old and from Abia State. She is reportedly an entrepreneur who runs an interior design business. Those who know her describe her as a committed Pentecostal Christian, well-educated, and a private person who doesn’t seek attention despite her attractive looks.
Before Adaugo, Fani-Kayode had been married three times. His first wife, Saratu “Baby” Atta, married him in 1987. They divorced after three years and have a daughter together named Oluwafolake.
He later married Yemisi Olasunbo in 1991, but that marriage ended in 1995. His third wife, Precious Chikwendu, a former beauty queen, is the mother of his four sons. Though they are no longer together, reports say their relationship remains peaceful, and Precious continues to have full access to the children.
People close to the former minister say the new union with Adaugo has been warmly welcomed. Sources add that Fani-Kayode has been making real efforts to ensure all his past and present relationships remain calm and respectful—something they say is unusual but admirable.
