Kidnappers demand N300m to free toddler, siblings

Some suspected kidnappers have demanded a total of N300 million for the release of four children kidnapped in Kaduna State.

It was gathered that the kidnappers contacted the children’s father, Adamu, and have threatened to kill them should he fails to raise the money.

Speaking on the incident, Adamu, who lives in Keke A in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna said he was asked to pay the N300 million ransom or the children will be killed.

He explained that the kidnappers said they will kill the youngest child who is a toddler because he is always crying.

His words, “They called me, demanding N300 million, and when I pleaded, I could hear them beating the children. I need prayers.”

The children were said to have reportedly gone missing on Tuesday night when their father was out to visit his wife who was away at the hospital.

According to the man, his wife was in the hospital to take care of their sick twins who were on admission when the incident happened.
