Lady who committed suicide inside MFM Prayer City unveiled
The picture of 41-year-old Benita Lurk Ikuenobe, the woman who was found dead in a suspected suicide inside the Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) Prayer City auditorium, has now surfaced online.
Recall the tragic incident occurred on Friday morning, July 18, 2025, within the expansive church facility along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The late Ikuenobe was reportedly discovered lifeless by the church’s Chief Security Officer, Esiere Ekikere, following a distress call around 7:20 a.m. She was found lying motionless on the auditorium floor with an empty bottle of a suspected poisonous substance believed to be a popular pesticide by her side.
Following the discovery, police officers were invited to the scene, took photographs for documentation, and later moved the body to the Real Divine Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Now, days after the tragic incident, a photo believed to be of the deceased has surfaced, adding a face to the name that has stirred public shock and grief.
Many social media users have reacted to the photo, with some expressing sadness over the circumstances surrounding her death.
The MFM Church is yet to issue an official statement regarding the development.
