Notorious bandit leader, Turji threatens Sokoto community: Drain your dam or die
Notorious bandit leader, Bello Turji has issued a threat to residents of Isa Local Government Area in Sokoto State – drain dam or face death penalty.
He warned them to drain a dam in their community or face brutal consequences.
This was revealed in a post by security analyst, Bakatsine, on X on Monday.
According to the post, Turji issued the warning to villagers after claiming that the dam was affecting his group’s movement in the area.
“Bandit kingpin Bello Turji has vowed to force villagers in Isa LGA, Sokoto State to drain their dam, warning of brutal consequences for defiance. How is a terrorist bragging like a ruler?,” Bakatsine wrote.
As of the time of filing this report, authorities are yet to officially respond to the incident.
