PDP sweeps Osun poll, wins all 30 LGs

As expected, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) made a clean sweep of all the chairmanship and councillorship seats in all the 30 local government areas of Osun State.

The Chairman of the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission (OSIEC), Hashim Abioye, made this known at a press conference on Saturday in Osogbo, the state capital.

Though they were complains of low voters turn, arrest of the state election officials and the allegation of sealing of the headquarters of OSIEC by the police, the PDP won all the available seats.
