Riverine Security celebrates Muslims Umma, wishes them blessings of Ramadan

Coast Guard of the Federation (Riverine Security), Warri, Delta, has sent best wishes to Muslims in the country on the occasion of Ramadan celebrations.

The outfit, in a good will message to all Muslims, prayed that the Ramadan celebration will usher more blessings and good tidings to the nation as they mark this year’s ceremony.

In a statement signed by the commandant of the Coast Guard, Commander Bibi Aduku, noted that fasting for a month is not an easy task but for the grace of Allah, who enabled them to finish it successfully, saying “The Glorious Qur’an in chapter 3 verse 286 says: “Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear…”

The security outfit commended the peaceful coexistence among all religions in the country. This the organisation said will lead to peace and prosperity.

Commander Aduku advised Muslims to lay emphasis on practising the five pillars of Islam – the declaration of faith (Shahada), prayer (Salah), alms-giving (Zakat), fasting (Sawm), and pilgrimage to Mecca (Hajj).

According to him, “Islam is beautiful, I believe we were created from God and we will return to Him”

“And we thank the Sultan of Sokoto for his efforts to maintain peace among Nigerian citizens.
