Victor Osimhen spotted in training after bust up with Lookman

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was spotted in training with the rest of the squad on Wednesday, appearing in high spirits as Nigeria prepared for their Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final clash against Algeria.

Initial reports revealed that Osimhen threatened to leave camp and return to his base in Turkey following tensions in the team.

The Galatasaray forward was involved in a bust up on the pitch with team mate Ademola Lookman during Nigeria’s emphatic 4–0 win over Mozambique in the last-16.

A day after the incident, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) insisted the matter had been resolved internally, stressing that the team remained focused on their quarter final showdown.

According to Daily Post, Osimhen was part of the squad, who were in high spirits, as they prepared for their next game against Algeria.

This highlights the squad’s unity and lively mood despite ongoing disputes over unpaid bonuses.
