Why I stopped acting movies for 10 years – Sola Sobowale

Veteran Nollywood actress Sola Sobowale has revealed why she stopped acting in movies for over 10 years.

She said she stopped acting and left for London to take up a cleaning job to take care of her family in Nigeria.

In a video posted on the official YouTube channel of “With Chude” during an interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, she disclosed that she stopped acting in movies and moved to London so as to work as an office cleaner and a cook in order to cater for her family in Nigeria.

In her statement, she said, “I’m giving glory to God because one doesn’t have to leave the movie industry for people to forget that person, but in my own case, I left the movie industry for over 10 years, and when I came back to the industry, people still accepted me back. I stopped acting movies, and I left Nigeria for London to work as a cleaner and a cook.”
