Peller chased out of the Alake of Egbaland palace duriing visit (Video)
Popular Nigerian streamer Habeeb Hamzat, professionally known as Peller, has found himself at the center of another dramatic incident, this time inside a royal palace.
The content creator, currently on a nationwide streaming tour, reportedly encountered an unexpected reception during a visit to the palace of the Alake of Egbaland in Abeokuta. His stop in the city was intended to connect with fans and explore new locations as part of his ongoing tour.
However, the visit took a sudden turn upon arrival at the palace of Oba Adedotun Gbadebo. In a video now making rounds online, a voice believed to be that of a palace chief was heard expressing displeasure over how the streamer, his entourage, and associate Tunde Perry entered the premises. The group was reportedly reprimanded, with their approach described as inappropriate for such a revered environment.
As tensions rose, other chiefs reportedly intervened, making it clear that the visit would not proceed. They informed Hamzat and his team that the monarch would no longer grant them an audience and directed them to leave the palace immediately.
Sensing the gravity of the situation, the streamer quickly exited the premises, urging his crew to follow suit as the atmosphere grew increasingly tense.
The incident comes just werks after a similar visit to the Oba of Benin palace sparked controversy. One of the Oba’s wives and some palace chiefs were reprimanded.
The Benin Traditional Council has since summoned him to appear before it on allegation of discretion and visiting the palace without prior approval.
